Week of August 5 – 11, 2024
We’re in the full blown activation of the Lion’s Gate this week, with the massive 8:8:8 gateway on Thursday August 8th. Anything goes, everything is possible, and our willingness to stay open through the heart is what matters most.
Coming from the recent Leo New Moon, we’re officially in a new chapter, a new beginning of courageous authenticity, contagious vitality, and the outpouring of Light that leads to generosity and gratitude. If ever there’s a moment when that doesn’t resonate, take a deep breath, and choose to open to the possibility, and start again. Find something – anything – to be grateful for, and allow the heart to open.
We live in a world of experiential duality; the brighter the light, the more obvious the shadow. The question is, which one are we attuned to? What are we looking for? And what are we generating and creating from? Every being on this planet has expressions of light and dark, the most accomplished and dignified leaders and gurus also have a shadow, an ego. When we humble ourselves through divine authenticity, we can honor our light and our shadow, and appreciate the gift that we are.
When we focus only on the negative – what’s not working, what we don’t like, what we don’t feel comfortable with – we close off to the abundance of Light that is ever present, always. When we attune to the positive, we generate a contagious frequency of energy that expands by nature. What we feed grows. What we magnetize increases and expands. If we highlight the potential and increase our capacity to open unconditionally, we begin to welcome possibilities that may have previously been overlooked or misunderstood in the initial reaction or contrast to our comfort zone.
Keeping an open mind is always important, and keeping an open heart is what keeps us alive. If we shut down, disconnect, bypass, or ignore the essence of Light that comes from an open heart, we eventually harden, losing vitality, and losing our connection to joy and gratitude. In the “8” vibration of energy that Leo season ushers and calls forth, we find strength in the vulnerability of our open heart, and we find strength to open the heart as the gateway to universal life force energy, the creative spark of infinite Light. When we resist or shut down, we disconnect from that current of Light. When we open, we become conduits that amplify, magnetize, and expand that Light.
The Lion’s Gate offers the amazing alignment of the Sun, Sirius, and the Earth, generating epic downloads of consciousness and amazing amplification of Light. Thursday 8/8 activates an inspiring triple 8 gateway (the year 2024 is an 8 year), and 3 of anything magnetizes and manifests that potential. What comes through that download, through the portal of an open heart, is unknown….yet anything goes. If we can open to the possibility, and release any barriers or defensive mechanisms within ourselves, we can allow ourselves to receive the full blown illumination of Divine Love. Light makes all things visible, and the invisible realm is fully active; the highest vision already present, potential ready to be seen. When the un-manifested potential from the invisible realm becomes highly visible, manifestation takes shape in an instant. We begin to see what’s been there all along, the gift that’s been there right in front of us (and within us).
Mercury is officially retrograde through 8/28, and Venus is now fully into the sign of Virgo. Gear shifts, reviews, and important attunements to the heart are coming up, and it matters that we open ourselves up to experience all of it! Remember, the darkest of the night sky reveals the brightest stars, and the consciousness can be received through the contrast that provides clarity and definition.
The week begins on Monday 8/5 with a Venus Pluto great eliminator, Venus Sedna stepping stone, and Mars Salacia resource. Venus is newly in Virgo, reveals the wisdom of the purest heart that comes from the wholeness of our experiences. When the heart opens, we can allow ourselves to experience and fully digest all that’s available – even digesting the fullness of our emotions. The highest lens of discernment activates and fine tunes through the purest heart, providing necessary filtration and elimination. As the veils thin, we see through the heart, into the Truth, and any illusions, distractions, distortions begin to dissolve through the mechanism of filtration. Through the process of filtration, the heart can elevate, access a higher library of wisdom and truth, and a higher channel of vision. Remember, Mercury is still in his station, newly retrograde. Let go of any attachments or reactions to current scenarios, and find the highest lens of discernment to sift through the emotional waters.
On Tuesday 8/6, the Sun manifests with the Great Attractor, and Mercury manifests with Ixion (2nd of 3). The amplification of Light is palpable, and the magnetism is inspiring. As Mercury manifests with Ixion for the 2nd time, our higher blueprint gets a full dose of Light, making it hard to ignore or refuse. Alignment comes from the holistic attunement with our highest Self, and any time we bring our alignment into the spotlight, we magnetize our authentic expression and holistic contribution.
Wednesday 8/7 begins with a Jupiter Chariklo manifestation, followed by an Astraea Salacia great eliminator, Ceres Varuna great eliminator, Sun Chariklo bridge, Sun Jupiter resource, then the Mercury Venus conjunction and Black Moon South Node (karmic) communion. Huge activations today, from the meeting of mind and heart, to the exact bridge of the Sun and Chariklo… there is expansion in the open spaces, resulting in higher consciousness. When we open our minds, we expand. When we open our hearts, we increase (restore) vitality, optimal vibrancy, and authentic power. When we transcend duality, we expand beyond anything we’ve ever known, accessing higher consciousness in the blink of an eye. Be willing to let go of what you’ve known, in order to be stretched into a new possibility. The stretch is the activation of new consciousness, and any temporary contractions facilitate a higher deliverance, if we can allow it. The heart is leading the way, and the mind is undergoing deep reflection and fine tuning, ultimately upgrading to the language of the heart (Light) through our inner operating system.
On Thursday 8/8, Venus manifests with Ixion, followed by a Neptune Juno bridge and Sun Albion stepping stone. An epic 8:8:8 gateway is awakened today, and initiating ongoing ripple effects through 8/17 and 8/26. The universal number “8” is a significant expression of the sustainable flow of universal energy and creation. Equal access above and below, the ongoing circuit allows for expression, creation, and manifestation. The more open we are (from the heart), the more open we become as a gateway for universal collaborative co-creation and abundance. Energy must be able to flow in and express out; if we collapse the dynamic in either part of the circuit, we hold back the river and diminish the potential for abundance. Our understanding of nature, of the universal laws of creation and sustainable energy, are increasingly important. As we learn to unify mind/heart, spirit/matter, we begin to unlock a divine flow of pure magic and brilliance. Our divine nature is to be unconditionally open, in partnership with the larger flow….unifying with the infinite universe as our Source of inspiration and creativity. When the invisible becomes visible through our expression, we are experiencing the Oneness of Universal Creation through our divine authenticity.
Friday 8/9 reveals a Pallas Vesta stepping stone, Venus Gonggong bridge, Ceres Quaoar conjunction, and Sun Saturn great eliminator. The Venus Gonggong bridge is massive, and will be revisited (and more deeply understood) as Mercury recovers the retrograde shadow phase on 9/11 – 9/12. As the heart awakens, elevates, and attunes to our highest lens of consciousness (communion with Soul), the landscape of our physical reality changes. If we want to change the world, we must heal our own hearts and integrate fully with Soul, awakening and elevating to higher consciousness, allowing the necessary releases or alchemical changes to occur as the ground shifts below our feet (and within our cells). We’re birthing a new Earth, and that new foundation is birthed from the purest wisdom of the awakened heart. It’s important that we continue to elevate, choosing to step up to a higher octave, as we navigate (negotiate) any periods of unexpected change and transformation.
On Saturday 8/10, there’s a Black Moon Ceres stepping stone, Chiron Vesta manifestation, Pluto Juno manifestation, Mars Great Attractor bridge, then the Black Moon turns retrograde (near miss stepping stone with Quaoar). It’s important to be mindful of actions (and reactions) today, tuning into the consciousness that’s motivating and driving those actions. We have an opportunity to elevate in consciousness, transcending the illusion of duality from our polarized tendencies; however that conscious choice requires higher consciousness. Look beyond surface level appearances, and take a deep breath before assuming or reacting. Let the veils thin, let the mirrored effect of projections clear, and allow right action awaken through the balanced mind/heart.
And Sunday 8/11 delivers a Venus North Node (dharmic) subtle intimacy aspect, Venus Ceres manifestation, Black Moon Venus Subtle intimacy aspect, Venus Quaoar manifestation, and Black Moon Ceres manifestation. There’s a powerful deliverance of the heart, if we can lean in and feel our way through the subtle realms that are being revealed. Listen for the quiet whisper in the inner silence, and allow a powerful deliverance to manifest through the discerning wisdom of the heart.
The practice this week is gratitude. Let gratitude inspire reverence, compassion, and noble presence with an open heart. Begin each morning with sunrise meditation and a gratitude ceremony, honoring the brand new possibilities and the gift a brand new day….while also honoring the wholeness of the previous day, honoring the light and dark, the comfortable and the uncomfortable. Remember, in the contrast of light and dark, in the experience of duality, there is always Light. Light fuels and inspires the manifestation and expansion of new Life. There is always something to be grateful for, and our willingness to open our hearts and look for the Light is the key to attuning towards Love. Light is the medicine, Light delivers downloads of new consciousness, and Light calls forth transparency, promoting freedom and transformation. When we recognize ourselves as both receivers and generators, and when we consciously make the effort to attune to the consciousness of Love, we become generators of Universal Light, amplified and magnetized through the generosity of our open heart. Be a Light Bearer this week, and amplify your authentic Light with the practice of gratitude.
